Pranayamas (Breath Work)

"When the breath wanders the mind also is unsteady. But when the breath is calmed the mind too will be still." — Hatha Yoga Pradipika

Nadi Shodhana

Alternate Nostril Breathing to balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain, inducing a deep state of calm.

Sacred Mantras

Sound is energy. Chanting mantras can shift your vibration and align your chakras. In the quiet solitude of the mountains, your voice resonates with the earth.

  • Om (Aum): The primordial sound of the universe.
  • Gayatri Mantra: For illumination and wisdom.
  • Lokah Samastah: A prayer for peace and happiness for all beings.

Ayurveda & Lifestyle

The sister science of Yoga, Ayurveda ("The Science of Life") helps us live in balance with the seasons and our unique constitution (Dosha).

Vata

Air & Ether. Creative, energetic, but prone to anxiety. Balanced by warmth and routine.

Pitta

Fire & Water. Intelligent, driven, but prone to anger. Balanced by cooling foods and relaxation.

Kapha

Yoga Philosophy

Yoga is more than poses; it is a way of life. Drawing from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, we explore the Eight Limbs of Yoga (Ashtanga) to cultivate inner peace and ethical living.
